Basket Maker

Hello and welcome,

Based in Frome, Somerset, I use locally coppiced hazel, other split woods and Somerset willow to make my baskets. I am motivated by the therapeutic rhythms in weaving and processing the natural materials. I incorporate traditional basketry techniques in my work to make unique pieces of beauty and function. I find deep solace in the connection to nature my work provides.
